FOR EXAMPLE

The new Prairie nation is poised to make history when Thursday night’s Winter Olympics women’s hockey game between Canada and the U.S. gets underway. The game will be broadcast live on national television, giving Canadians the opportunity to hear firsthand what life is like down under in Calgary.

It will be the first time since 1976 when the games were held in Calgary that the game between the hockey rivals will be broadcast live nationally in Canada. A whole new Canadian vista is about to be revealed to millions of fans in this country, about half of whom are born in the United States.
